Boise, Idaho

We only stayed in Boise one night, just like we did in Albuquerque, but we forced ourselves go out and see the city. Because when is the next time we are going to purposely travel to Idaho? It was about a 6 hour drive from Salt Lake City, the drive wasn’t as nice as others in we had seen on the trip, it was less majestic desert and more functional farmland. We stayed in an RV park over by the airport, it was an older park, so it was small with almost no amenities. But the people were friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Which is becoming my most important request of any park we stay at. I don’t mind showering in a public restroom, the shower in the RV is just too small and the water isn’t hot enough for me.

We drove downtown and saw what the city was all about. It was a really nice downtown area. There were a lot of interesting restaurants and bars. We took an impromptu art tour of some fantastic graffiti in a parking garage then took some pictures of the capitol building. This is the third state capitol that we have seen on the trip! Then it hit us that we had been driving all day and our energy was used up.

But we did it! We saw a small piece of Boise Idaho!
